The Perfect Circle Letterboxing Guild is a private group of old friends and family members who enjoy the hobby of letterboxing. Although we are not any sort of "membership organization" open to the public, all visitors are welcome to use the information contained within this site.

Letterboxing is a pastime that can be enjoyed by anyone. It's a treasure hunt. A road rally combined with a day hike. Martha Stewart meets Survivor. It's an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with friends, get a little exercise, and enjoy the great outdoors. The search for the boxes using the puzzling clues, and the chance to travel to different locations, has captured the interest of thousands of people around the world.

Please remember to check for the most recent version of the clues before you go out searching for any of the boxes, as they may have changed since you last read them (either to correct small errors, make the clues more legible, or to report hazardous circumstances that have cropped up, such as poison ivy...).

However, as conditions may vary, it is the responsibility of the letterbox searcher to become thoroughly familiar with the conditions in the area to be searched, to adequately prepare for those conditions, and to conduct oneself safely and responsibly with respect to those conditions and with respect to his or her personal abilities and limitations. The Perfect Circle Letterboxing Guild and the individual letterbox sponsors assume no liability for events which may occur related directly or indirectly to one's searching for a letterbox. Do not let children hunt for letterboxes unsupervised.
